Free Bookmaking Kits in Redwood City
Kids who visit the Children’s Room in the main Redwood City Library this month can get a goodie bag full of bookmaking materials, courtesy of Bookmaking With Kids, free for the asking. The giveaway is
our way of welcoming the library back after a month-long closure and saying Thanks! for the many opportunities the city’s libraries provide for kids’ bookmaking.
Library-goers can check the display case near the Children’s Room to see ideas for using their Make-A-Book kits. The display offers a glimpse the goodies in the kits–file-folder covers, pages, lots of stickers, ribbon, collage materials and more–plus examples of different kinds of books kids have made using similar supplies.

Cathy, this is such a wonderful idea and a very generous gesture by Bookmaking with Kids. Your site is inspirational.

Thanks for your kind words, Carol. Do you have kids who made books with kits from the RCPL supplies? If so, what did they use their books for?
